Project id is a non-profit organization serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Projectid is a non-profit organization established to provide recreation, social, work, and other life opportunities for adults (and their families) with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Spokane County. Projectid was formed out of the vision of one set of parents and their desire to create a future for their daughter and her peers who have special needs. This would allow them to enjo

y the same pleasures, responsibilities, and growth opportunities as every young adult but within a context that met but challenged their needs. That vision, shared with a group of coaches and volunteers already passionate about this population through Special Olympics Sports (Spokane's Wolfpack), formed the foundation for Project id. Project is about to open a recreation center for adults with intellectual disabilities and begin programming including family resources, classes and groups on life and living skills and specialized job training.

Hello Everyone! ☀️

Can you believe it’s already June?! We sure hope the temperatures level out soon — we’re voting for 75° and sunny! Who’s with us? 😄🌤️

We have lots of fun activities planned this month:

🌟 Excursion Groups will be out and about quite a bit
🌿 Day Program plans to spend time outside on the lawn during nice weather
🌞 Evening Program is looking forward to enjoying some outdoor activities too

We also have several new members joining us this month. When you see someone new, be sure to say hello and help make them feel welcome! 💙

This past weekend was amazing. I have the privilege of working with an incredible team and wonderful volunteers who truly care about our members.

On Saturday, Sandy came in with our team along with volunteers from Life Center and led line dancing with our members. Everyone had a fantastic time, and the joy and laughter throughout the room was priceless.

Then on Sunday, two of our members arrived at the center with only about five minutes left in the service. Even though everyone else had already left, Eric stayed behind and sang with them while they waited for their bus. He knew how much the music portion of the service means to Aubrey and PJ. You could see the pure joy it brought to them.

Moments like these remind me how blessed I am to work alongside such an amazing team of people who genuinely love and care for others. Thank you all for making a difference in the lives of our members every single day. ❤️

Just a reminder that Project ID – The Wolf Den will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

Also, there will be NO Friendship Church on May 24th due to the holiday weekend.

What a beautiful day at Greenacres Park in the Spokane Valley! ☀️🌳

While some played frisbee, others loved spending time on the swings. 😄

In addition to enjoying the park, we went on a trail walk nearby and saw some adorable goats, German Shepherd dogs, friendly pit bulls (all safely behind fences, of course), and a huge, beautiful mix of bright yellow and bright orange wild roses. 🌹💛🧡

Days like this make us so thankful for sunshine, fresh air, and time together! 😊

What a great time we had at Special Olympics Regionals on Saturday!
A huge Thank You to all our volunteers and friends who joined us. We truly couldn’t have done it without you. The energy, support, and teamwork made it such a special day for everyone involved.
We had an amazing time and are so grateful for all the help. Looking forward to the next one!
Final results will be posted hopefully by Tuesday!
