Projectid Project id is a non-profit organization serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Projectid is a non-profit organization established to provide recreation, social, work, and other life opportunities for adults (and their families) with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Spokane County. Projectid was formed out of the vision of one set of parents and their desire to create a future for their daughter and her peers who have special needs. This would allow them to enjo

y the same pleasures, responsibilities, and growth opportunities as every young adult but within a context that met but challenged their needs. That vision, shared with a group of coaches and volunteers already passionate about this population through Special Olympics Sports (Spokane's Wolfpack), formed the foundation for Project id. Project is about to open a recreation center for adults with intellectual disabilities and begin programming including family resources, classes and groups on life and living skills and specialized job training.

☀️🌳 Another beautiful day for an adventure! 🌳☀️

The group enjoyed a picnic lunch at Manito Park and then headed off to St. John’s Cathedral for a tour. 🥪🌿⛪

They’re making the most of these last few days of sunshine, and what a perfect way to do it!

The tour at St. John’s is always fascinating. There are so many nooks, crannies, beautiful details, and hidden treasures throughout the Cathedral that it would take a multitude of trips to see it all! ✨

Our group always seems to enjoy exploring and learning about this amazing place. ❤️

🍂 Hello September! 🍂

Well, here we are… September 2026! Where did the summer go? It’s been an eventful summer, and thankfully, we still have a couple of weeks of beautiful weather left to enjoy! ☀️😊

We also wanted to share an important update for our Engagement participants. We know that the cost of admission has been a roadblock for some when it comes to participating in certain community activities. To help remove that barrier, we will now be covering admission/entrance fees for activities such as movies and bowling. 🎬🎳

Please keep in mind that any food, drinks, souvenirs, or trinkets purchased during these outings will still be the participant’s responsibility.

Polka Dot Pottery will remain at the participant’s expense, and we will limit these types of activities. We’ll always let everyone know ahead of time when an activity will have an additional cost.

We hope this change will make it easier for more of our participants to get out, have fun, and enjoy some of the activities in our community! ❤️

🐢😂 LOL! No, they did NOT have turtle for lunch! 😂🐢

They did, however, find a turtle to feed after lunch! And of course, because this group can’t seem to stay away from water, they found some water to play in too! 💦😎

We’re really not sure what this group is going to do when it gets too cold for swimming and splash pads! 😂

Somehow, they managed to fit duck feeding, lunch, ice cream, turtle feeding, AND water fun all into one outing! 🦆🍦🐢💦

Some did a little dipping, some did a little sunning, but everyone had fun! ❤️

This time, the group headed out to Camp Caro/Dishman Hills for a little adventure! There’s always something fun to discover when you get out and explore.

Whether we’re trying something new, enjoying the outdoors, or simply spending time together, fun times can be had anywhere you go! 😊❤️

🌊☀️ They did it again! They found another awesome little swimming spot! 🏖️

This time, the group checked out Waterfront Park, and it looks like a fantastic place to spend a summer day! Everyone had plenty of room to enjoy the water, and they could walk out to just below their shoulders before the sandy bottom disappeared. 🌊😊

Looks like we’ve found another favorite! This one will definitely be added to the summer list. 🏊‍♀️☀️

We love discovering new places and making memories along the way! ❤️

🎨✨ It’s always a full house when we visit Polka Dot Potter! ✨🎨

Our members really got their creative juices flowing and made some pretty amazing pottery! 🖌️🏺 There was plenty of painting, chatting, laughing, and, of course, lots of fun along the way.

It’s always wonderful to see everyone’s creativity shine—and no two pieces are ever quite the same! ❤️

Another great day filled with creativity, friendship, and fun! 🎨😊
