Tuesday night truck checks followed by an SCBA mini drill and our next Hydrant Award winner Chris Hawks and Tyson! Some people talk about dedication. Some people live it every single day. Chris Hawks is one of those people.
No matter the hour, no matter the weather, Chris is there. Day or night, if the tones drop, you can count on him getting apparatus off the floor and responding without hesitation. Reliability like that is rare, and this department is lucky to have it.
But Chris’s pride in the firehouse goes far beyond calls. Recently, he took the time to replant all the flowers out front by our sign and flagpole, making sure the station looks as cared for as the people inside it care for this community.
It’s the little things and the big things. The late nights, the hard work, the pride, and the consistency. Thank you, Chris, for everything you do for the department and for the community we serve. 🚒🇺🇸
