The Millbrook Arts Group and Millbrook Library are excited to bring you our latest MAP exhibition of 2026 from Monday, July 6 - Saturday, August 22, 2026. Join us for a free public reception this Friday, July 10, 6-8pm.

Enjoy a Conversation with Artists: July 10 | 4:00 PM and a Collage Workshop: July 25 | 2:00 PM

Presented in conjunction with Making Meaning: A Collage Symposium at the Vassar Institute for the Liberal Arts, this exhibition brings together five artists whose collage-based practices investigate place, memory, and materiality. Through acts of collecting, layering, cutting, weaving, stitching, and assembling, fragments of the physical world are transformed into works that navigate both earthly and psychological terrain.

Drawing from geological formations, urban surfaces, found objects, textiles, maps, and archival fragments, the artists allow traces of accumulated histories to remain visible within their compositions. Whether rooted in the glacial landscapes of the Hudson Valley, the layered streets of Berlin and Brooklyn, or the quiet accumulation of color and material gathered over time, the exhibition considers place as something continually constructed—shaped by perception and the meanings we attach to the places we inhabit.

Millbrook Arts Group is thrilled to welcome you to the 2026 Summer Sunset Concert Series!

Soak in the sounds of summer with an exciting lineup of talented performers at the Bandshell. Our featured band is “The Lustre Kings” - bringing rock, country, blues and R&B to Millbrook.

Part of Millbrook Arts & Open Studios / Upstate Art Weekend, Saturday’s concert begins at 6:30 PM. After that, settle into your summer rhythm as our remaining concerts return to their usual Saturdays at 6:00 PM.

Mark your calendars, gather your friends and family, and get ready for evenings filled with great music, warm breezes, and community spirit. Best of all, every concert is completely free.

Bring a blanket, bring a chair, and come make unforgettable sunset memories with us. We can’t wait to see you there!

The first 2026 exhibition of Millbrook Arts Project in partnership between The Millbrook Library and Millbrook Arts Group is on display and runs through Saturday, February 28, 2026.

An Artist Talk with Irja Bodénand JoAnne Lobotsky is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, at 2:00 PM.

The Color of Growth brings together four artists whose work reimagines nature and landscape as dynamic sites of transformation. Set against the monochromatic backdrop of winter in the Northeast, the exhibition invites viewers to look beyond seasonal dormancy and consider growth as an ongoing, layered process—one that persists beneath the surface, even when unseen.

Together, the works in The Color of Growth challenge romantic notions of nature and renewal. They remind us that growth is rarely linear or benign—it is tangled, contested, and deeply colored by the conditions of the worlds we inhabit.

The Millbrook Arts Group is again planning to host "Millbrook Arts & Open Studios" during Upstate Art Weekend. The dates for this year's UAW event have changed and so our event will run Saturday, JUNE 27th to Sunday, JUNE 28th and will include Open Studios, a curated exhibit at the Millbrook Arts Project at the Millbrook Library, and a concert by local musicians at the Millbrook Bandshell. As always we want to celebrate our local creative community and are looking for visual artists to participate in the Open Studio portion of the event.

There is no fee to participate but you need to be located in the Millbrook area and be engaged in a professional studio practice and have a website and dedicated artist studio. Submission information can be found at our website - www.millbrookartsgroup.com

Turn up the music and bring your best moves! Club Friendly is taking over the Village Hall on Friday, February 27, from 5–7 PM for a fun, high-energy dance party for everyone.

This is a friendly, all-ages vibe, and everyone is welcome - kids, teens, adults, and families. No pressure, no fancy moves required! Just come dance, hang out, and have a great time with your community.

*Please wear indoor shoes to help protect the Village basketball court floors! There will be space to change your shoes if needed.

This program is a collaboration between Millbrook Library, Millbrook Arts Group, and the Village of Millbrook.

Join us on Saturday, December 6th, at 6:00 to listen to award-winning, internationally renowned musical storytelling duo, The Storycrafters, on a folktale-filled journey through the winter days. This is a fun and lively, participatory musical "story celebration" of winter's wonders to brighten the dark nights. Suitable for families with children aged 4 and up.
