Tonight, the blues take over the Commons! 🎸🎵

Let the music set the mood as the Pride and Joy Blues Band brings the soulful blues, smooth grooves, and live energy to the stage from 7-9 p.m.!

Originally formed in 2023 as a Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute band, Pride & Joy has evolved into a Stevie Ray Vaughan-inspired blues band. They perform songs by Stevie Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top, B.B. King, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa, and more, featuring five talented local musicians.

Good music, good company, and a whole lot of blues. See you tonight! 👋

Kick off your Labor Day weekend early with Twilight Tunes Dueling Pianos tonight from 7-9 p.m. at the Pedestrian Plaza stage!

🎸 Friday, September 4 | The 2XL Band | 7-9 p.m.
The 2XL band formed in 1984 by guitarist Phil Vigelius Drummer Pat Murphy and keyboardist Jay Jolley and has been continually rocking the metro Detroit area since. 2XL has several original CDs and has opened for major acts such as Eddie Money, The Guess Who, Rick Springfield, ​Burton Cummings, Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad), Mitch Ryder and many more. Today, the 2XL band consists of Phil Vigelius on guitar, Pat Murphy on Drums, Bill Vigelius on Bass Guitar, Jay Jolley on keyboards, Eric Kot on Sax, and Dan Colfer on Keyboards. Come out and experience the powerful Rock & Roll that you know and love.

🎷 Saturday, September 5 | Pride and Joy Blues Band | 7-9 p.m.
Originally formed in 2023 as a Stevie Ray Vaughan Tribute band, Pride and Joy has already earned praise from many local artists and music lovers. We have grown into a Stevie Ray Vaughan inspired blues band playing songs from not only Stevie, but ZZ Top, B.B. King, Albert King, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa and More!!
