Our first meeting of the year was packed with information, inspiration, and beautiful show-and-tells!

A big thank-you to Anna Schafer for sharing her tips on organizing quilt projects and for showing us the wonderful binder she created to keep everything organized. What a great idea!

We were also excited to welcome many new faces to the guild. To top it off, we received a generous donation of fabric from a local quilter who recently moved out of the area. Members had the opportunity to admire the beautiful fabrics and take some home to put to good use in their own quilting projects.

What a wonderful way to kick off the new year! We’re looking forward to another year filled with quilting, creativity, friendship, and inspiration. 🧵

Please see the attached instructions for the “Joey Bag.” This bag is one of our newer charity donations that we make and donate to a few organizations in the community. The bag is given to foster pre-teens and foster teens who need to collect their belongings quickly to move homes.

Here are some instructions on how to sew a pillowcase. Pillowcases are one of our main charity donations to a few surrounding organizations.

Pillow cases are a perfect way to show off novelty fabric, bust stash, make a quick gift, or store a quilt. Let me show you how to whip one up! (This post may contain affiliate links)
