Your support at the Hartford Yard Goats game helps create opportunities for our students and reflects the power of our community. It was wonderful to see an entire section of Middlesex supporters come together for such a meaningful cause.

Earlier this month, Nick Bellantoni, Ph.D., 1973 Middlesex grad and emeritus state archaeologist, led a hike at Gay City State Park in Hebron with members of MILE (Middlesex Institute for Lifelong Education) as their final group activity. While MILE is disbanding, several members are joining CCALC (Castle Craig Adult Learning Center) in Meriden, also affiliated with the MxCC Foundation. To learn about CCALC, email [email protected]. As MILE (Middlesex Institute for Lifelong Education) concludes a 33-year legacy of learning, friendship and community engagement, its members presented the MxCC Foundation with a generous $10,000 gift. MILE members Elisabeth Tischio, Laurel Patt and Nancy Rogalsky ceremonially presented the donation to Foundation representative Stacey Burgess and board chair Laura Pieper on June 18. We are deeply grateful for MILE’s longstanding support and the lasting impact the group has made on our campus community. 🌷
