A joint effort with Wadsworth Chapter DAR and Durham Public Library to collect new wish list items for our CT Veterans will start collecting Wishlist items November 3rd until December 1st at the Durham Public Library. Jake Harvey (son of chapter member Carol Harvey) presented his remake of a WWII poster to advertise our project to Julie T. Rio, Assistant Library Director. Jake is a 1977 Coginchaug High School graduate, studied Visual Communications at UNCONN, and currently is a web designer and voice over artist. In addition, Judy Moeckel and Marge Supple joined the group.

The Wadsworth Chapter was well represented in two Lafayette Tour markers yesterday in Cromwell and Middletown with Marion Driscoll, Terry Latimer, Nancy Piscottano, Debbie Shapiro and Marge Supple in attendance. The Cromwell Historical Society and Belden Library in Cromwell and Middlesex County Historical Society were instrumental in obtaining these markers.
