Yesterday two of our board members had the privilege of serving as guardians for our friends at Central PA Honor Flight. The day was made even more special by the opening of the Desert Shield and Desert Storm Memorial. We're excited to start honoring Desert Shield and Desert Storm Veterans next year so that they can see their memorial! 🇺🇸

🎂 Happy birthday to us! 🎉

Today, October 15, marks exactly 10 years since our very first trip back in 2016. As we officially enter our 11th year of service, it remains our absolute privilege to honor local veterans by bringing them to Washington, D.C., to see the memorials built in their honor.

To celebrate a decade of missions, we are looking back at where we started versus how it’s going!
📸 Photo 1 (Top): A look back at our very first trip on October 15, 2016—the trip that launched a decade of unforgettable memories and community support.
📸 Photo 2 (Bottom): Our incredible veterans and guardians from a trip this year (2026), proving that our mission to honor, thank, and welcome home our heroes burns as brightly as ever as we head into year 11.

Thank you to our dedicated volunteers, generous donors, loving guardians, and most importantly, our brave veterans, for making the last 10 years possible. Here’s to many more years of serving those who served us! 🦅🇺🇸

We want to extend a big thank you to the incredible Falcon Scholars cadets from Randolph-Macon Academy who served as guardians on our trip last Saturday!

These wonderful young men and women were absolutely fantastic, providing care, respect, and companionship to their assigned veterans throughout the entire trip. From departure to homecoming, they ensured our heroes had the unforgettable experience they so richly deserve.

To our Falcon Scholars: Thank you for spending your Saturday with us and treating the veterans with such respect. We wish you the absolute best of luck as you take flight and head to the U.S. Air Force Academy next year! AIM HIGH! 🦅🇺🇸
