In the past two years, a local group has built more than 220 beds for children in Frederick, Shenandoah and Warren counties and they’re not done yet.

The smile on a child’s face is the greatest reward for the work we do — and none of it would be possible without the incredible generosity of H.L. Borden Lumber! They’ve opened their space to us, giving us room to store our tools, bedding, mattresses, and completed beds, and providing plenty of space for our bed builds. Their support helps make sure more kids in our community get the good night’s sleep they deserve.

Our build for November is this Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9am to Noon at Borden's Lumber in Strasburg! This will be our last build for the season in 2025. Our builds will resume in March 2026.
