What a beautiful day for the inaugural Lost Arts Fest at La Grange Family Farm ☀️

Thanks to this incredible community of readers, we gave away over 200 books, made booktastic connections and watched so many littles (and adults!) light up as they picked out (free) books to take home. Those moments are exactly why we do what we do.

Thank you for showing up, supporting our mission and helping us continue to spread a love of reading across the Valley, one book at a time!

We’re so excited for tomorrow’s lostartsfest at La Grange Family Farm!

Our Giving Library will be stocked with something for all readers: new finds, well-loved favorites and a few vintage treasures just waiting for their next home.

And for a little extra fun, we’ll be getting creative with a simple, sweet craft; doodling on bookmarks made from real book pages.

Come add your own touch, take one with you and then tuck it into your next great read- for yourself or a friend.

Stop by, say hello and celebrate the joy of stories with us. We can’t wait to see you there from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 📚❤️

We’re preparing for our first event of the season this Sunday at lostartsfest and the excitement is real.

At Gifts Giving Back, we believe every child deserves a story to call their own: one that sparks imagination, builds confidence and creates a lifelong love of reading.

From well-loved classics to exciting new adventures, children’s books have a way of opening doors to worlds far beyond our own and sometimes, they help children feel seen right where they are.

Gifts Giving Back is excited to take part in the Lost Arts Festival 2026 on Sunday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at La Grange Family Farm in Stephens City.

This family-friendly event celebrates traditional skills, creativity, and community through hands-on demonstrations and local artisans.

Our Giving Library will be on-site, tailored to the spirit of the festival with special surprises for readers of all ages. Stop by our table to learn more about our mission to promote literacy and a love of reading in the Valley, explore our programs, and see how you can help us give the gift of books to local children.
