A big day at the station! The team from Davenport Insulation arrived today and, in an amazing display of skill, coordination and efficiency, completed the installation of the wall insulation. The station project continues to move forward, with drywall installation hopefully to begin soon.

This has been an incredible journey with area construction firms and individuals contributing generously. The completion of the station is now coming into view. But to finish up we will need some additional contributions to help fund the remaining work, including interior finishes. If you can help, please contact us at [email protected] or mail your contribution to us at Wi******er & Middletown Model Railroad Association, Inc., P.O. Box 98, Middletown, Virginia 22645.

We have just a few B&O/CSX commemorative "golden spikes" left. Donors of $100 or more will receive one of these spikes, but first come, first served, and when they are taken, we will be out of spikes found on the station site.

Have you been meaning to get one of our "golden spikes" commemorating the coming completion of the reconstruction of the Middletown B&O Railroad station? We have just a few left!

For a contribution of $100 you will receive a genuine B&O/CSX spike found on the site during the preparation for the reconstruction of the station and a signed Certificate of Authenticity. The perfect Christmas gift for the railfan in your life!

If you want one, contact us soon. Don't be disappointed by missing out! The remaining spikes will be issued on a first come, first served basis. Order yours by emailing us at [email protected].

The Mayor helps us unveil the Middletown station signs, bringing the station another step closer to completion. Also thanks to Consolidated Electric of Wi******er for providing a bucket truck, substantially assisting in installing and unveiling the signs (and other high altitude work).
