We are seeing an increase in scam messages circulating in our community, including ones claiming to be from the Virginia DMV.

⚠️ Please be aware:
The DMV will NEVER send text messages about fines, license suspensions, or request personal or financial information via text.

If you receive a message like this:
❌ Do NOT respond
❌ Do NOT click any links
🗑️ Delete it immediately
📲 Report it as spam on your phone

If you are unsure whether a message is legitimate, contact the DMV directly using official channels.

A few of our board members and Sheriff Lenny Millholland were able to attend the 2025 TRIAD Conference sponsored by the Attorney General's Office. Our TRIAD organization was nominated for The Attorney General's Award and we were excited to accept! We would like to thank all of our members who have worked hard to support our mission and provide education and resources to our seniors in our community!

We recently hosted our annual TRIAD Expo at the DoubleTree hotel in Front Royal and it was a huge success! We had some great presenters and the attendees were able to collect information and resources from various vendors. We hope to see everyone next year!

We are grateful to RCD Electrical Services, Inc. for sponsoring our TRIAD Trap Shoot! We were able to raise money to go toward events like the TRIAD Expo and other future events for our seniors in the community! More pictures to come.

Calling all seniors! Join us for a day of education and fellowship on Tuesday, October 14th, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Double Tree-Hilton. We'll have speakers and vendors offering valuable information for our community seniors. Check out the flyer below for registration details. Lunch will be provided, and this event is FREE!

For those who do not know what TRIAD is, TRIAD is a partnership of local law enforcement agencies, seniors, and senior service providers working together to reduce criminal victimization through education and resources within our communities.

The cost is a free will donation and all money raised will go directly to supporting our endeavors to providing training to our seniors in the community!
