The mission of the program is committed to providing quality instruction in a fun environment. Wi******er Youth Hockey currently has over 390 boys and girls registered in our youth hockey programs. Through the efforts of more than 60 volunteer coaches, and the assistance of countless parents, WYH is able to offer programs suitable for every child (see www.winchesteryouthhockey.com for more details
). From our Learn to Play Hockey Program to our high school-age Travel Program, we take great pride in the accomplishments and progress of all our players. Over the years we’ve proudly watched our youngest participants master the basics of hockey for the first time, we’ve won several State Tournament Championships ( in 2013 our Midget A, PeeWee A and Sq**rt B teams were crowned state champions!) and we’ve seen many of our “graduates” perform at the highest level on the Wi******er High School Boys’ and Girls’ State Tournament teams. Some WYH players have even gone on to play at the Div. 1 & Div. 3 collegiate level. We are proud of our current success and look forward to many more in the future while still adhering to our commitment of having fun as the main priority. See you at the rink!
