The Better Middlebury Partnership (BMP) is a civic organization dedicated to making the Greater Middlebury community a better place to live, work and play. The BMP builds partnerships with the town, Middlebury College, and the business community to promote a vibrant and thriving Middlebury. We support local businesses through signature events, initiatives and the Middlebury Money program. We prote
ct the integrity and vitality of Middlebury's downtown by running the State's Designated Downtown program, and overseeing the Downtown Improvement District. We advocate for projects and initiatives that will contribute to smart economic growth. And, we build community because we believe that it's the most important thing we can do. Our annual events throughout the year have experienced enormous success and support over the past few years, bringing thousands of people into our downtown.
