At our May 18 meeting, we had our scholarship winners and parents as guests. Pictured are recent Lincolnview graduates Amelia, Kendall and Lainey. Congratulation ladies!

Also on hand was guest speaker Kory Thatcher from the Van Wert County Engineers Department. Kory talked about the challenges of maintaining the county's roads, bridges and drainage ditches.

We wish our scholarship winners and the 2026 Lincolnview High School graduating class all the best!

At our April 20 meeting, our guest speakers were Lincolnview superintendent Jeff Snyder and Lions Region Chair Darlene Roll. Mr. Snyder filled us in on what's happening at Lincolnview, including the new playground project. Lion Darlene present Lion Bob Miller with his 50-year member pin, and presented the club with certificates for our service projects.

On Wednesday evening, the Middle Point Lions and some community members stuffed eggs with goodies for the Middle Point Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt is scheduled for noon on Saturday, April 4 in the ball park.

The guest speakers at our March 16 meeting were Theresa Mengerink and Brent Stevens from the Van Wert County Historical Society. Theresa and Brent shared upcoming events as part of the America 250 celebration and plans for a new building on the museum property in Van Wert. We also met Flat Isaac Van Wart!

Longtime Lion Bob Miller had his birthday celebrated at the meeting as well. Bob has been a Lion since 1976.

The Middle Point Lions had two guest speakers plus a birthday to celebrate at their March 2nd meeting. Lincolnview baseball coach Eric Fishpaw and assistant softball coach Clay Erman provided us with information and prospects for the upcoming season on the ball diamonds. The club wishes them and all Lincolnview student athletes a successful season!

We also celebrated Lion Henry Germann's birthday. Lion Henry has been a member of the Middle Point Lions since 1974! Happy Birthday, Henry!

The guest speaker at our February 16 meeting was Van Wert Economic Development director Brent Stevens. Club members learned about new businesses coming to Van Wert and heard updates on the data center project.
