Sometimes our post's donations come around at just the right time. One of the horses at Hosanna Horse Haven had a giant tumor that needed to be removed, and it was uncertain how the funds were going to be secured. Ace is recovering nicely and several of the students he helped are overjoyed that they get to have more time with him.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Nick and all his cohorts from VFW Post 3035 for their incredibly generous $3,000 donation toward Ace’s surgery.

This post has continued to stand beside us, showing unwavering support for the work we do with veterans and at-risk youth. They truly understand the power of connection that horses offer—and the importance of caring for these horses so they can continue to change lives.

Because of partners like VFW Post 3035, we are able to keep moving forward, providing healing, hope, and meaningful experiences for those who need it most.

Come over to the post Monday night for the college championship game. Doors open at 7pm and we'll have $1 drink specials with the officers bartending. Kitchen will be closed, but we'll have pot luck for snacks so feel free to bring something to share. No pull tabs but the machines will be available.
