Our COO may stand for Chief Operating Officer, but today we think it stood for Chief Ordering Officer! 🌭😄

A big thank you to Jeff for helping bring Skyline Chili to campus for lunch today. If you know our youth, you know Skyline is always near the top of the most-requested meal list, so this was a welcome surprise for many. From our youth to our staff, the lunch was thoroughly enjoyed and greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jeff, for helping make the day a little more fun and a lot more delicious!

Mental health matters at every age, and every child deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive. We encourage everyone to help break the stigma surrounding mental health by showing kindness, checking in on others, and reminding those who may be struggling that they are not alone.

FAQ: WHAT POPULATIONS DOES THE TEACHING-FAMILY MODEL SERVE?

The Teaching-Family Model can be adapted to any environment. TFM services have been demonstrated as effective for children and youth who are abused, neglected, at-risk, juvenile delinquents, youth in the foster care system, developmentally disabled youth and adults, the severely emotionally disturbed, and families/parents at risk of having children removed.

The Teaching-Family Model is effective for all ages, and the implementation-dissemination systems have been adapted to effective parent training programs for in-home services for families at risk of having children removed. TFM is adapted and demonstrated successful outcomes in classrooms and schools, hospitals, shelters, assessment centers, multi-purpose programs, independent/transitional living, foster care, campus and community-based, and other settings.

A huge thank you to 7Brew Van Wert for inviting The Marsh Foundation to be part of the ribbon cutting celebration 💚☕️ We were incredibly grateful to celebrate alongside your team, Van Wert Chamber of Commerce, and the community during the check presentation for Caffeine for a Cause!

Because of the support from 7 Brew and our community, The Marsh Foundation will be purchasing an additional horse for our Equine-Assisted Learning and Psychotherapy program, and we are excited to name the horse after 7 Brew!

As a way to honor the incredible support shown by our community, this partnership will directly help expand opportunities for youth to participate in equine services. The number of children we can serve through our equine program is closely connected to the number of horses we have available, meaning this support will allow even more youth to experience healing, growth, connection, and hope through equine-assisted learning and psychotherapy.

Last week, we celebrated four graduates from The Marsh Foundation school during our graduation & awards ceremony held on campus in the Bagley Auditorium 🎓

We are incredibly proud of each graduate and all the hard work, perseverance, and growth that led them to this milestone. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments alongside staff, leadership, and supporters who have encouraged them along the way.
