Did you know Handel's Messiah has a LONG tradition of charitable givings? 🎶 🎁

In fact, the first Messiah performance, long believed to originate in London, actually first debuted on April 13, 1742, at the Great Music Hall in Dublin, Ireland, as a charity benefit concert!
(The music hall doesn't exist anymore, a historical drawing is attached.)
The Dublin performance raised funds that helped free 142 men from debtors' prison.

We can hope to one day be just as noble, but only with your help.

If you would like to donate, our contributions directly support our professional musicians and keep this concert as a free gift to our community.
You can donate any denomination any time at the link below:

Even the smallest amount matters and we hope you consider supporting music with us and our community! ❤️

What a wonderful first rehearsal, thank you to everyone who came prepared to sing and listen, and arrived with joy in your heart. It is a blessing that we can come together year after year like this.
If the wonderful rehearsal we had last night is any predictor for how the concerts will go, Michigan City, you are in for a TREAT!

There is still time to join the chorus! We love new faces! ❤️
