Proudly carrying on a centuries-old maritime tradition! ⛵️⚓️

Dating back to the 18th century, burgees have always been symbols of identity, home harbors, and camaraderie on the water. To represent who they are, our sailors designed their very own original burgees-using colors, shapes, and drawings unique to each of them. 🎨

Happy World Sailing Day! 🌎⛵️ If you want to see what the impact of sailing looks like, look at these two. Ask any of our youth sailors, and they’ll tell you: being out on the water changes everything. It builds confidence, creates lifelong friendships, and, honestly, it’s just a ton of fun.

While the world celebrates today, Team Paradise is celebrating accessible sailing every single day. We believe Biscayne Bay belongs to everyone, and we’re proud to keep our docks open and welcoming to all.

Our High School Prep Sailing Clinic is designed for sailors looking to sharpen their skills, build confidence, and prepare for the jump to Varsity competition.

Next Level is leveling up! ⛵️🔥

We threw a new tack-on-the-whistle drill at the Next Level crew today to get their timing and positioning sharp for race starts.

Highlight of the day? Watching Paz and Tristan figure out the “big wave” concept during roll tacks. When skipper and crew move as one, you ride a massive wave of momentum. If you’re fighting each other? You get choppy, slow waves. The fluid rotations paid off and the growth today was real!

Today’s lesson: Fish fins & sailing physics 🐠⛵️

Our SYSTEM program uses hands on experiments to not only learn in the classroom, but also see concepts used in real time. By designing and racing their own fins made from recycled plastic bottles, our sailors begin to explore how lift, drag, push, and pull forces work. The more they learn the how and the why in sailing, the smarter and faster they become on the water! 💪✔️
