Our mission is to have a positive and enduring impact on those we serve. Educate Tomorrow strives to have a positive and enduring impact on the academic, personal and professional lives of those we serve, helping students to mature into contributing members of our community. Educate Tomorrow provides holistic support services to youth and families who are currently in or aged out of foster care and/or are experiencing housing instability. Educate Tomorrow buffers the systemic pressures that our students endure. We also work relentlessly in every way possible to have a positive and enduring impact in the lives of those that we serve while helping others become strong members of our community. Educate Tomorrow also provides an opportunity to eliminate obstacles to help our community have a better future. Recent Achievements:
- Educate Tomorrow students have achieved a high level of graduation success, with 50 high school diplomas, 27 associates degrees, 25 bachelors, and three masters degrees.
- We raised and dedicated $424,000 in emergency assistance for students in financial crisis due to the coronavirus pandemic, allowing them to focus on their academics.
- And, despite the challenges posed by Covid-19, Educate Tomorrow’s AOK Scholars achieved a 91% college persistence/graduation rate this year – a 2% increase over last year. This level of college access, persistence and success is recognized as among the nation’s best in the field.

✨ Scholar Highlight: Meet Anthony White! ✨

Anthony is currently completing his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Florida State University. ♥️

Anthony has been an active member of his community since his time at Miami Dade College, where he worked with Educate Tomorrow’s Field Academy to build an aquaponics system, raise awareness about native plants, and combat food insecurity through education. 🌱

Now at Florida State University, Anthony continues to use his leadership skills to create safe and welcoming spaces for students through . He helps connect students with campus resources and student organizations while supporting them in finding their sense of belonging on campus. 🫂

🌟 Staff Highlight: William Greene

Meet William Greene, Placement Coordinator & HMIS Administrator for Educate Tomorrow’s Youth Homeless Helpline!

William plays an important role in helping young people experiencing homelessness connect with housing resources and supportive services. Through placement coordination, HMIS administration, communications, and creative problem-solving, he helps strengthen the systems that connect youth with the support they need.

William brings experience in nonprofit communications and previously worked with Positive Pathways. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Advertising and Applied Communications from Florida International University and is passionate about serving others. He brings strengths in strategic planning, marketing, administration, communications, and creative thinking to his work at Educate Tomorrow.

Based in St. Petersburg, William also serves as a youth leader at his church. Outside of work, he enjoys photography, music, and riding his bike to the beach.

We’re grateful for William’s dedication, creativity, and commitment to helping young people move toward greater stability and opportunity! 💙

What a great day representing Educate Tomorrow and Miami-Dade at the 2026 Florida Conference on Ending Homelessness!🫂 Our team shared how Miami-Dade County’s response to youth homelessness has evolved into a coordinated system helping young people move from crisis toward housing, stability, and long-term success.

We highlighted our three-stage approach — Crisis Access & Stabilization, Intentional Housing & Service Matching, and Long-Term Stability & Success — and, most importantly, the role of youth voice in shaping the system.

We were especially glad to be joined by our YHDP partners from Miami Homes for All, Citrus Family Network, and SHIFT4Youth. We’re grateful to the Florida Coalition to End Homelessness for the opportunity to share what Miami-Dade is building together. The work continues! ❤️

We’re proud to highlight Educate Tomorrow Board Member Justin Gannon! 🌟

Justin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) working as a commercial damages expert at Kaufman Rossin. Justin earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Florida State University, and in addition to being a licensed CPA, he is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).

Outside of his professional career, Justin’s greatest passion is his family; his wife, Deena, and their two amazing sons, Maverick (5) and Beckham (2).

Justin’s connection to Educate Tomorrow goes back more than 15 year. He first joined us as an intern in the summer of 2010. Today, we’re grateful to have him continuing that relationship through his service and leadership on our Board of Directors.
