🐦 Update on our newest crew members! 🐦

About a week ago, we shared that a robin had chosen our tour boat as the perfect place to build a nest and raise her family. We're happy to report that the baby robins are growing quickly!

The nestlings are getting bigger every day, their feathers are starting to come in, and they're becoming much more active. Mom and Dad Robin have been busy making constant trips back and forth with food to keep these little ones well fed.

We're continuing to give them plenty of space while they grow and prepare for their first flights. It's been a wonderful reminder that our waterways and the wildlife that depend on them are all connected.

Check out these latest photos of the growing family! ❤️🐦

Hi friends. For the past two months we've been working on a big project in South Lawrence Massachusetts on the Merrimack river. A year ago we applied for a Mass Environmental Trust grant to take on the 2 mile stretch of the river fire road that goes the whole length of the south side of the river. This 2 mile stretch stretch was full of abandoned homeless camps and packed with deep debris. We collected thousands of hypodermic needles as we went along cleaning up and w**d whacking, cutting the brush to get through this overgrown fire road. Please take a look at the pictures and see the hard work that Clean River Project and our team take on every day . Thanks to all the volunteers who helped!

We’ve posted the photos from our recent visit with the students and staff from Brooks School!

During their morning visit, the group participated in an educational tour of our headquarters, where they learned about our work and the importance of environmental stewardship. Afterward, we headed to Nightingale Court, where everyone helped clean up a mile-and-a-half stretch of the bike trail along Riverview Court.

The students and staff did a fantastic job, and it was great to see everyone enjoying the outdoors while giving back to the community.

Thank you to Brooks School for spending part of your day with us and helping make a positive impact in our community!

A huge thank you to Mass Environmental Trust for awarding Clean River Project a grant that helped make this important cleanup possible!

Thanks to their support, we successfully completed the cleanup of a two-mile stretch of the south riverbank in Lawrence, Massachusetts, removing debris from homeless camps and restoring this valuable natural area for wildlife and the community. 🌎💚

Did you know you can support Mass Environmental Trust by purchasing a Massachusetts environmental license plate featuring the whale? 🐋 Every plate sold helps fund environmental projects across the Commonwealth, helping organizations like ours protect rivers, restore habitats, and improve public spaces.

We are grateful for the partnership and support that helped bring this project to completion. Together, we're making a lasting difference for our environment and future generations. 🐟🦋🐇🦆🐓😊

We’ve got some very special new clients aboard our tour boat this season 🐦💙

A couple of weeks ago, we discovered a robin’s nest with four eggs safely tucked away on the boat. Wanting to protect them without disturbing the nest, Rocky carefully built a box around it to help shield the babies from wind and prevent any hatchlings from accidentally falling into the water.

Today, we checked on them and found that THREE of the eggs have already hatched! 🥹

Because their safety comes first, we made the decision to cancel our first boat tour on June 13th to give this little family the time and protection they need. Not only is it the right thing to do, but both Massachusetts and federal law protect nesting birds as well.

Nature had other plans for the start of our season, and we’re honored to share our boat with these tiny passengers. 💙

Hi Everyone. Last week CRP was graciously hosted by Lawrence High Upper School Academy to present information regarding CRP's Environmental mission. We focused on CRP's debris management, the fact that debris left in the Environment not only causes water toxicity, but also increases the impact of plastic pollution for Earth's future. The students and Ms. Ansley were great. They've been monitoring the Shawsheen River as well as visiting Lawrence's water treatment plant. Looking to the future, a group such as they will potentially grow the Environmental Stewardship platform of Enviro Superstars Clean River Project is working hard to establish. Thanks again Lawrence High! Hope to visit with you again soon.
