Dear supporters, sponsors and volunteers,
The Ford family and members of the Dan Ford Foundation have made a difficult decision. We will be ending the Dan Ford Road Race after the 2018 season. The decision is due to rising race costs and waning participation.
We’re so proud of what we’ve accomplished in the past 10 years. Thanks to your participation and support of this race, we’ve provided financial help to hundreds of cancer patients at Dana Farber in Londonderry and Mass General in Boston. Your generosity has and always will be appreciated.
However, this does not mean the Dan Ford Foundation has dissolved. On the contrary - we’re just going to pivot. What does this mean? We’re in the process of researching alternative fundraising streams; low cost events that engage our supporters and excite our sponsors. We’ll share those details soon.
For now, we’d like to invite you to make this year’s race on Saturday May 12 the most successful race in our ten year history. Please register online now at www.danfordroadrace.com and show your support on May 12th.

Join hundreds of runners, joggers and walkers for the 2018 Dan Ford Road Race. The 5-mile race is USATF certified with cash prizes. The 3-mile run is both a competitive and recreational race. Each race is chip timed by Yankee Timing with time splits at every mile.

Thanks to all who participated and volunteered today! It was another great turnout. Because of you, cancer patients at Mass General and Dana Farber Londonderry will have access to another year of financial assistance.
