An ENORMOUS THANK YOU to everyone who joined us this past Friday at the annual Freistadt Heritage Foundation fundraiser!

To our hosts at Circle B, The Pommersche Tanzdeel Freistadt, The Freistadt 4H, the Pommern Verein and all the dancers and volunteers in attendance - you all made the night amazing. To Boehlke Hardware for organizing the Silent Auction and the Prime Minister Catering folks who put on a tasty meal for us, your efforts were greatly appreciated!

And it is with much gratitude and humility that we thank every single individual who donated over the course of the evening. Those who bought dinner tickets, bid on silent auction items and baked goods, purchased raffle tickets, or tucked a dollar in a sock during Gloria.... thank you. Every single generous donation will help with the expenses of operating and maintaining the Lindenwood Community Center, which has been a well-loved cornerstone of Freistadt's cultural organizations for generations. Through your help and support, it will continue to be so for many years to come.

Just in time to battle a late winter blast, you may have heard that 2 of our 3 furnaces at the Lindenwood School needed replacement. Thanks to donations from our community, and the clubs that utilize the building, we were able to get that important work done with 2 brand new high efficiency Armstrong furnace units.

The furnace for the basement is still hanging in there, but it too, is over 30 years old. So that means its great timing for our annual FHF Fundraiser, coming up April 10th! We're hoping for an awesome turnout for silent auction items, 50/50 raffles, dinner and entertainment by Freistadt's own. Come join us! It's the year of the furnace!
