Memphis Artists for Change Memphis Artists for Change is an artist powered social activist organization.

Memphis Artists for Change was born out of a desire to change the apathetic stigma that is attached to artists when it comes to doing "boots-on-the-ground" work. It has evolved into an organization whose focus areas are economic and community development, as well as social justice.

We called it a family reunion for a reason.

You know that “cousin” feeling? The one where you look around and everyone feels familiar, like chosen family? That’s what our Black Family Reunion brought to Memphis. It was a place of belonging, community, a village. It was an event for us to eat, dance, laugh, learn, and celebrate the city that connects us.
