"It's been a long road to get here but I will try to sum it up in less than 26.2 miles.

My dad, Dan (or Uncle Danny to many), passed away on June 8, 2015. I was 17 years old and at a loss. My mom comes to me with Camp Erin NYC, a free weekend long camp for children 7-17 who've lost a close loved one that her co-worker, Roni Perlzweig, volunteers with. In her words, "you have to go." So I agreed (albeit begrudgingly) having no idea what I was in for. Camp Erin was a life changing experience. It was so impactful to be able to share my story with peers going through a similar loss. They do an amazing job balancing grief work with the fun of a classic summer camp experience." 🌟❤️

Honor a loved one while helping create a lasting place of healing and remembrance. ❤️
The COPE Labyrinth is a peaceful space for reflection, connection, and hope; a place where grieving individuals and families can pause, remember, and find comfort along their journey.
We invite you to become a lasting part of this meaningful project by purchasing a **Memorial Brick** or **Memorial Bench** in honor or memory of someone special. Your tribute will create a permanent legacy while helping COPE continue supporting grieving families throughout our community.
A memorial gift is more than a name engraved in stone it is a symbol of love, remembrance, and a life that continues to make an impact.
For information on memorial opportunities, pricing, or to reserve your tribute, please contact us today.
www.copefoundation.org and go to COPE Labryinth for details.

Together, we are creating a place where memories live on and healing begins.💜💙

For May's Clinician Spotlight, we are honored to feature Michelle Graff, LCSW. From her early days as a trauma specialist with the FDNY to her leadership here at COPE, Michelle has dedicated her career to bearing witness to life’s most difficult moments.

Michelle understands that bereavement is often misunderstood and deeply isolating. Her work is grounded in a singular, powerful truth: no one should have to navigate the unpredictability of grief alone.
