This is the last week to see a very special curated exhibit at St Joseph’s University. “Materials to Magic” features several members of the Long Island Craft Guild that represent a variety of mediums. The gallery is in the Student Center just to the left when you walk in. It is open to the public from 9am-5pm. Last day is Thursday, October 22.

Member highlight. Anna Noh

Nanum Cultural Center is a nonprofit cultural center located within All Saints Church
in Great Neck. The center offers painting and ceramic classes, taught by volunteers.
Anna is a director of the Nanum Cultural Center and is teaching the pottery class
since 2015.
Nanum means ’sharing‘ in Korean and it refer to sharing out of neighborly love and
good will.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00am - 9:00, Wednesday: 10:00am – 9:00, Friday: 9:00 am – 6:00am

Member Lauren Singer’s workshop went so well that she’s doing it again later this month.

Register now for another Saori Style Weaving Workshop at the Nassau County Museum of Art, Manes Center, Oct. 29, 2026 10-2:00. Space limited.

Learn to weave from the heart. In this workshop, you’ll create a custom wall hanging using a simple frame loom, tapestry needles, and yarn.
