Platinum Show Chorus

Platinum Show Chorus PSC is just one of many chapters in Region 9 which covers most of Florida and part of South Carolina.

PSC strives to present a professional musical product molded from a mixture of hard work, fun, friendship and laughter - Currently looking for a director - Our rehearsal space in the First Presbyterian Church of Palm Bay at 6:30 on Thursdays The Platinum Show Chorus (PSC) was chartered in 1974 with Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide organization of over 30,000 women singers who love to sing

and perform in the barbershop style. Our performances include two annual public shows, numerous "sing outs" for local groups, and "Singing Valentine's". Currently we are 27 members strong and are always ready to welcome more! Rehearsals are 6:30pm every Thursday night at Unity of Melbourne, 2401 N Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32935

Recording yourself is an incredible tool to hear and acknowledge where adjustments might need to be made. What are good things to listen for? Notes, breaths and vowel sounds? Haveing a section leader listen and give advice can be immensely helpful.

No matter what, you should never ever feel bad for doing something "wrong" in singing. It's ok to start over and fix the sound. Begin again and remember to put your skills in motion.

Working on the most simple skills is the first step in improving your skills in every aspect. Not much can be gained if you don't have a grasp on the basics. After all, how do you eat an elephant if not one bite at a time.
