Friends is a non-profit 501(c)(3) registered in FL which supports the Guardian ad Litem program.

We raise funds and solicit in-kind donations to provide for the unmet needs of abused, neglected or abandoned children in Brevard County.

Offices, schools, churches, clubs, teams and neighborhoods can all collect new hoodies for children in foster care. We’ll send you a flyer, and when your hoodies are ready, we’ll come pick them up!

🏆 GROUP CHALLENGE! Can your group collect 25 hoodies? 🧡

This holiday season we're working to give a cozy new hoodie to 850 children in Brevard foster care, from infants to teens. Many of these kids were removed from their homes through no fault of their own, and something warm that's all their own can mean a lot.

Here's the challenge: rally your sports team, classroom, scout troop, church group, office, or friend group and see if you can collect 25 hoodies together. Every group that takes on the challenge gets a shout-out from us! 📣

850 Hoodies for 850 Reasons
Today, we launch our annual Hoodie Drive. Our goal is 850 brand-new hoodies, one for every child in care.
A hoodie is warmth, comfort, and something new that belongs only to them. For a teen, it can be a little privacy on a hard day. For a toddler, it's something soft and cozy to hold onto.

This year, we're asking our community to help us fill Care Carries bags. These duffle bags are packed with comfort items and essentials and handed to every child entering foster care in Brevard County.
Many of these children are removed from their homes through no fault of their own, often with nothing but the clothes they're wearing. A Care Carries bag tells them: someone cares about you.

Imagine being a child and being told you have to leave home… today.
No time to pack. No time to say goodbye to your favorite things. Just a new place, new people, and a lot of uncertainty.
A flashlight can make a dark, unfamiliar room feel a little less scary. A stuffed animal can provide something familiar to hold. A card game or coloring book can help break the ice with a new caregiver.
