The Fight Child Hunger 5K benefits The Children's Hunger Project and Sharing Center of Central Brevard, helping provide food, hope, and support to local children and families in need. The Children’s Hunger Project and Sharing Center of Central Brevard are proud to partner with Health First to help fight childhood hunger right here in our community. tical funds for these two local nonprofits, working together to ensure as many children in Brevard County as possible have access to nutritious food—especially when school is not in session. This family-friendly Run/Walk is a fun way to create lasting memories while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children facing hunger.

The race takes place at Viera High School, with Health First returning as our Title Sponsor. Businesses, congregations, and individuals are invited to join the Race to End Childhood Hunger. 100% of proceeds from this event directly support local, vulnerable children.

We’re excited to share that the 5th and 6th-grade Art Club students at Ralph Williams Elementary School are using their creativity to help fight childhood hunger through an Empty Bowls project benefiting The Children’s Hunger Project!

Students will create handmade ceramic bowls while learning how their talents can make a meaningful difference for children right here in our community.

The wait is over... the first brushstrokes of our story are about to begin.

For the past 15 years, our community has helped The Children's Hunger Project grow from serving 27 children in one school to nearly 5,000 children every week across Brevard County.

Now, that story is coming to life on the side of our building.

Our new mural, , will celebrate the children, volunteers, donors, partners, and community who have made this journey possible—and tell the story of what can happen when a community comes together to ensure no child faces the weekend hungry.

Follow along as the transformation begins. This is more than a mural... it's a legacy. 💙
