Food insecurity doesn’t always look the way we expect it to.
In a community like Collin County, it can be easy to assume that access to fresh, nutritious food isn’t a significant issue. But every month, The Samaritan Inn Food Pantry serves more than 10,500 individuals across 2,700+ households, and 39% of those individuals are children.
The need isn’t limited to the holidays or a single difficult month. For many of our neighbors, putting fresh food on the table is an ongoing challenge.
By providing a grocery-store-style experience with access to nutritious foods and the freedom to choose what works for their household, the Pantry is here to meet that need with dignity every day of the year.
Food insecurity is closer than you think. So is the opportunity to help.
