It sure is hot! Sharing this along with a reminder that the historic house at Hampton is NOT climate-controlled, so be prepared for the heat if you are planning to take a tour. (If the heat index is so high that it is unsafe, tours may be shortened or canceled--call the park to get more up to date info)!

⚠️⚠️CAUTION: Park roads are currently very dry due to the drought, so the sand is very loose. Park staff are doing their best to mitigate it but until we get some nice, compacting rain, please use caution driving inside the park!⚠️⚠️
