Traveling Apostles for Christ Our mission is to help provide more for those who were given less. Hey there, friends! 👋 I'm Carl Moody, part of the Traveling Apostles for Christ family.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit and we're on a mission to make a difference in the lives of Vietnamese refugee children in Cambodia & Laos. As a non-profit, we're all about building faith-based schools to help these kids break free from poverty and unlock their potential. 🏫✏️

We truly believe that education rooted in faith is a powerful weapon against poverty and disease. And you know what? Even just giving a pencil to a child can be the start of their journey towards self-empowerment and a brighter future. 🌟

Now, let me tell you a bit about these Vietnamese refugees. They've been stranded in Cambodia & Laos since 1973, and sadly, most can't read or write in any language. Plus, many girls born into these families end up in the tragic world of human trafficking. We believe we can change this! 💪

These refugees live in challenging conditions, but we're here to help. Traveling Apostles for Christ is the only missionary group directly working with these Vietnamese refugees, and we're using innovative tech to bring the word of Jesus Christ to their communities through indigenous pastors and their evangelistic assistants. 📱🌐

Sharing the love of Jesus through faith, compassion, and action! Pastor Khen and his ministry are training indigenous evangelists in **basic first aid and providing them with first-aid kits** so they can respond to injuries and basic medical needs while serving remote communities in Laos.

These evangelists are being equipped to meet physical needs while sharing the Gospel, bringing practical help, hope, and the love of Jesus to people who might otherwise have limited access to care.

High in the mountains of Laos, something beautiful is happening! Through the support of Traveling Apostles for Christ, a 5,000-gallon cistern and 3½ miles of water pipeline are helping bring clean water down the mountain to a farming community of more than **800 people!** 💦

There’s something beautiful about fellowship—sharing life, sharing a meal, sharing a smile, and growing together in Christ. ❤️

This photo gives us a glimpse into the everyday fellowship surrounding Pastor Khen and Mala and the people they serve alongside in Laos. Whether these are fellow villagers, ministry workers, or evangelists being trained, these moments of fellowship are an important part of building a strong church family and ministry family.

🇱🇦 FOLLOW PASTOR KHEN & MALA’S MINISTRY IN LAOS-SEE THE JOYFUL FACES OF MINISTRY!
Take a look at the roads Pastor Khen and his wife, Mala, travel to reach people living in remote mountainous villages.
These are not occasional trips. This is their daily ministry.
The roads can be steep, rough, narrow, and extremely difficult to travel. Yet Pastor Khen and Mala continue going into these remote areas to serve people who desperately need help.
They are reaching:
❤️ Elderly people who need care
❤️ Sick people who need medicine
❤️ Families who need food
❤️ Children who need support
❤️ Villages that are difficult to reach

This is why a 4x4 transportation truck is so urgently needed. A dependable 4x4 would allow them to carry food, medicine, and other essential supplies farther into the mountainous villages and reach people who might otherwise be left without help.

❤️ LITTLE HANDS. BIG LOVE. A BRIDGE TO THE GOSPEL. ❤️🙏

These precious children at the House of Hope in Laos are learning that loving Jesus means learning to love and care for others.

Together with Pastor Khen and Mala, they are preparing what Pastor Khen calls “Love Bags”—bags filled with food and necessities that will be carried to a nearby province, just five or six kilometers away, to help elderly and sick people who are struggling to meet their physical needs.

But these bags are about so much more than food.

Pastor Khen calls it a bridge. 🌉

When we meet a person’s physical needs with food, compassion, kindness, and love, we begin to build a relationship. That relationship can open hearts and create an opportunity to share the Gospel and the Good News of Jesus Christ. 📖❤️

And look at what these children are learning along the way.

They are learning to care.
They are learning to serve.
They are learning to nurture others.
They are learning that the love of Christ is something we live out and share.

Before they can go out and teach others about Christ, they are learning to demonstrate His love right where they are. Their hands are preparing food, but their hearts are being prepared for ministry. 🙏❤️

This is discipleship.
This is compassion.
This is evangelism through action.
This is building a bridge to the Gospel.

THESE LITTLE HANDS ARE CARRYING MORE THAN FOOD… THEY ARE CARRYING LOVE, HOPE, AND THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. ❤️🙏

The people of Laos still have a tremendous need for food. At the House of Hope, Pastor Khen and the children are preparing what he calls “Love Bags” to send to another province in Laos, about five or six kilometers away, to help elderly and sick people who are struggling to meet their physical needs.

But Pastor Khen sees these Love Bags as more than food. He sees them as a bridge. 🌉❤️

By meeting physical needs with food, compassion, and love, Pastor Khen is building relationships between communities and provinces—opening doors to share the Gospel and the Good News of Jesus Christ. 📖🙏

And the children are learning to be part of that mission: to serve, to care for others, and to show Christ’s love through their actions.
