Perhaps you are caring for a loved one or are searching for yourself, all are welcome. Our communities are filled with businesses, public entities, and churches that have resources to benefit older adults. Additionally, there are a great variety of opportunities for older adults to be involved in the community sharing their gifts and talents with others. All too often many are unaware of the rich resources in the communities. We seek to have answers to the questions many do not even know that they have until a crisis arises. The goal of Winter Grace Ministries is to bring people and resources together to benefit and enrich the lives of each and every resident over 55 and their families. WGSM desires to be a trusted friend and ally. WGSM is a Christ-centered, non-profit organization designed to honor the dignity of each person. WGSM invites members of all faiths or no faith to avail themselves of the services of WGSM. At WGSM we seek to bring together those in need of information, education, and resources with those who provide them. Recognizing that aging brings multiple areas of change and as people age they become more uniquely individual, we want to be a resource in the neighborhood that can point you in the right direction. In addition to sharing existing resources in our communities, our SENIORS+ Ministry will provide support in Spiritual, Educational, Nutritional, Intergenerational, Outreach, Recreation, and Service areas. We will host classes in a several areas: Bible studies, cooking for one classes, travel, enrichment classes, and much more. Information in residence options, transitions, and independence will be available. We ask experts in a variety of fields to share their passions with the older adults in the community. Though there are many serious areas to explore, we seek to be a resource of fun, enjoyment, and adventure as well. From assisting in the creation of Heritage Books to travel talks and mission opportunities, WGSM wants each individual to have life, and have it to the full. (reference John 10:10) Each person, regardless of age is a precious child of God and WGM seeks to honor each person.
