There were 1,129,020 abortions in America in 2025.

That's an increase from 1,108,810 in 2024. And the numbers keep climbing.

What's driving the increase? Mail-order abortion pills.

In 2025, 28% of all abortions were done via telehealth and mail-order pills—up from 22% in 2024.

No doctor visit. No ultrasound. No screening for ectopic pregnancy that could be fatal.

Just pills in the mail and women left to deal with the consequences alone.

This isn't expanding healthcare. It's a public health crisis with zero accountability.

We can stop this. But we need to act now.

Earlier this month, St. Thomas More hosted a viewing of The Case for Life for BGSU students right after their “Thou Shalt Chow” dinner. About 40 students watched attentively, asked questions, and were visibly moved.

The next night, 10 students returned for part two and sparked even more conversation.

During both evenings, students thoughtfully completed their surveys, thanked our facilitators, and told us more people need to see this series.

Read the exciting news below from Sidewalk Advocates Ella and Marjie!

At the beginning of Tuesday morning, we saw a woman crying going into the facility because they wouldn't let her mom go with her. Later on, two sidewalk advocates, Marjie and Sue, got to talk to her, and Marjie wanted to share what happened:

"I met Momma J today when she came out of the facility. I tried to speak with the woman who brought her, but she had left ten minutes earlier, so Momma J had to call someone else to pick her up. When Sue and I went over to talk with Momma J, the es**rt told her that if she was going to talk with us, she would have to leave the parking lot. This made Momma J mad, and she gladly moved onto the sidewalk with us. Then the es**rt continued talking, telling us that her abortion was “the best thing that ever happened to her.” It was an incredibly strange and sad moment.

Momma J had come to the clinic, but she never really wanted to have an abortion. She was just overwhelmed, because she thought she was too old to have another child. She ended up crying in the facility, so the staff told her she would have to come back another day.

We ended up talking and praying together, while we waited for her husband to pick her up. The longer we talked, the calmer she seemed to be. It was such a blessing to see her accept the gift that God had given her (and she saw that this child was from God!). We shared our information with her, and encouraged her to contact us if she needed anything."

God is so good! Please pray for Momma J, her husband, and their baby!

Over the last few Wednesdays, 16 people gathered at Saint Rose Parish - Perrysburg for powerful and honest conversations about life.

They attentively watched The Case for Life video series, asked hard questions, and for a full hour each session, engaged in productive discussion about one of the most important issues of our time.

Several attendees were especially shocked to learn the reality of how abortion procedures are actually performed—information that's often hidden from public view.

Many of the attendees agreed: "More people need to see this."

And they're right.

Churches across Northwest Ohio are using The Case for Life to equip their congregations with facts, science, and confidence to defend life in everyday conversations.

"Do no harm" has been the foundation of medical ethics for centuries.

And it's always meant that doctors should never intentionally end a patient's life—no matter how much suffering that patient faced.

But now, we're being told that killing can be caring, that prescribing death is compassion, that "do no harm" can include lethal injections.

That's not a medical evolution. It's a complete reversal.

Assisted su***de doesn't heal. It doesn't restore. It doesn't relieve suffering.

It eliminates the person suffering.

Let's get back to a culture where "do no harm" actually means "do no harm.”

Just 52 days after fertilization, a preborn baby begins moving on his or her own.

Over the next four weeks, that baby develops a whole range of unmistakably human behavior:

✔️ Pursing the lips, moving arms and legs
✔️ Head turning, touching his or her face
✔️ Opening the mouth, breathing movements

That's not a clump of cells. That's a person.

We should treat them that way.
