“I never knew firefighters did so much!”

— Program Participant

Our visit to the Oregon Fire Department was an inspiring experience for our youth and families. The firefighters were incredibly professional, welcoming, and eager to share their knowledge.

Participants learned about fire safety, explored emergency equipment, toured the station, and gained insight into careers in the fire service.

We are grateful for the men and women who not only protect our community but also take the time to educate and inspire the next generation.

Thank you, Oregon Fire Department, for being true community heroes.

The Heroes Next Door

A huge thank you to the Oregon Ohio Fire and Rescue Department for an incredible experience! Our young men and families learned valuable fire safety skills, explored emergency equipment, toured the state-of-the-art Firehouse, and gained insight into careers in firefighting.

Experiences like these expand horizons, build confidence, and expose youth to new opportunities. We are grateful for the firefighters who not only protect our community but also invest in the next generation.

“Wake Him Up” is a movement reminding young men to recognize the king within themselves.

True kings are built through character, discipline, vision, and purpose. When young men begin to see their value, they gain the power to transform their lives and communities.

There’s nothing like the energy of game day.

From the crowd interactions to the intensity on the court, the experience with the Glass City Wranglers was all about community, excitement, and bringing people together.

Great basketball, great people, and unforgettable moments made for an amazing atmosphere from start to finish.

The Program Inc. partnered with BGSU, Rudolph Libbe Group, GEM Inc., and other industry leaders to show our young men what it truly means to build a future with intention.

The Building Your Future event was exposure, mentorship, and opportunity in action. Students connected with professionals, explored career pathways in the skilled trades, and learned that success is not simply about having dreams, but about developing the discipline, skills, and work ethic required to achieve them.

Spaces like this are critical because they transform potential into preparation.

When young men are surrounded by leaders, resources, and real opportunities, they begin to see that their future is not out of reach, and that it is something they can build.

This project was funded in part by a grant from the Sylvania Franciscan Foundation Fund of The Greater Toledo Community Foundation.
