What a day! 💜 Thank you, Clark County!

Last Saturday, 42 of us gathered at the Clark County Fairgrounds for our Annual Recovery Picnic and Recovery Housing Open House, and our hearts are still full.

Families, neighbors, partners, and people in recovery came together to share a meal, connect, and celebrate the truth that recovery is possible, and it's happening right here in our community.

A huge thank-you to our partners who made the day possible:

🎉 GREAT NEWS — THE CLINIC HAS EXPANDED! 🎉
We are excited to announce that the Sealing & Expungement Clinic is now open to qualifying residents of BOTH Clark and Edgar Counties! 💜
📅 Saturday, November 7, 2026
⏰ 1:00–4:00 PM
📍 201 S. Central Ave., Paris, IL 61944
Land of Lincoln Legal Aid will help participants determine eligibility for sealing or expungement. Those who qualify will receive FREE fingerprinting, and Land of Lincoln staff will provide follow-up assistance with the sealing/expungement and court process.
📲 REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!
You MUST scan the QR code on the flyer to sign up before the event.

There has been a lot of speculation on social media that, "CODA is closed." When we ended traditional shelter operations and moved to mobile advocacy, somehow that translated into CODA is closed. The reality is, we never closed and we were always more than a shelter! Not only are we still open for business, but we are serving more clients than ever.

Keep following our page during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we will be sharing our very exciting service statistics with you soon.
