The Mattoon Arts Council is excited to continue celebrating the creativity, imagination, and talent of our local students through the Young Artist Awards! These outstanding young artists are being recognized for their exceptional ability to express themselves through art and for inspiring those around them with their creativity. 🖌️🌟

🇺🇸 Memorial Day is almost here. And the Friends of Lake Mattoon Memorial Day Cookout is back! 🇺🇸

📅 Join us Monday, May 25th from 10 AM – 1 PM at the Lake Mattoon Beach Pavilion.

Come hungry, stay a while, and help us honor those who gave everything for our country.

✨ What to look forward to:

🌹 Wreath drop ceremony around 11:30 to remember our fallen service members
🎁 Attendance prizes for the kids
🎟️ Red, White & Bourbon raffle drawing (must be 21+ to enter)
🧁 Bake Sale - We're looking for baked good donations!!

🚗 Parking is limited at the beach, so please carpool if you're able.
