Our community is so amazing and God is so so so faithful! We had a family needing a specific resource for their child, urgently. One phone call later, within 30 minutes, I am en route to pick up the needed supplies!

🍂 Hope & Harvest Fest is coming to The Salvation Army Mattoon! 🍂

Join us on Saturday, September 26th from 10 AM - 2 PM for a day of community resources, kids' activities, giveaways, fall crafts, and thrift store specials!

We're still looking for community partners and organizations to host a free resource table. This is a great opportunity to connect with local families, share services, and make a positive impact in our community.

It's hard to believe, but Red Kettle Season is rapidly approaching, and this year we're looking to add a little friendly competition to the fun!

We're searching for local businesses willing to throw down the gauntlet and compete to see who can raise the most money through their Red Kettle. The winner will earn bragging rights, community glory, and possession of the highly coveted (and potentially world-famous) 2026 Traveling Red Kettle Trophy! 🏆

Friends, our food pantry shelves are looking a little bare, and we could use your help! Right now, we are especially in need of:

✅ Rice
✅ Pasta Sauce
✅ Spaghetti Sauce

These staple items help us provide meals and support to families in our community who are facing difficult times.

Donations can be dropped off at The Salvation Army Mattoon Corps during our regular business hours. Every bag, jar, and can makes a difference!
