🧺💜 FREE LAUNDRY DAY RESULTS ARE IN! 💜🧺

What an incredible day of community coming together to make a difference! 💜

We want to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to the amazing volunteers who gave their time and our generous community sponsors who helped make this event possible!

Because of YOU, we are able to help individuals and families in our community by taking one more burden off their shoulders. ❤️

It's about so much more than clean laundry. It's about kindness, dignity, compassion, and showing our neighbors that they are not alone!

💚 World Mental Health Day 💚

Today, we recognize World Mental Health Day and remind our community that mental health matters and so does taking care of yourself.

Mental health challenges can affect anyone, and there is no shame in asking for help. By talking openly, educating ourselves, showing compassion, and supporting one another, we can help break the stigma surrounding mental health.

🌿 Make time for self-care today. Take a walk, get some rest, set a boundary, spend time with someone you love, unplug for a while, or simply give yourself permission to slow down.

💚 Check on your people. Be kind. Listen without judgment. Take care of yourself, too. It’s okay to ask for help.

💜 The Cycle Nobody Talks About: Substance Use Disorder & Domestic Violence 💜
Substance use disorder and domestic violence are often treated as separate issues, but for some individuals and families, they can intersect in complex ways involving trauma, stress, safety, stigma, and barriers to asking for help.
It’s important to remember: Having a substance use disorder does not mean someone is experiencing or causing domestic violence. Survivors who use substances deserve support, safety, compassion, and services without judgment.
Breaking the cycle means creating stronger connections between our systems, reducing stigma, using trauma-informed approaches, and making sure there is “no wrong door” when someone reaches out for help.
💜 Awareness starts conversations. Conversations can open the door to help.

We are excited to announce that the Sealing & Expungement Clinic is now open to qualifying residents of BOTH Clark and Edgar Counties! 💜
📅 Saturday, November 7, 2026
⏰ 1:00–4:00 PM
📍 201 S. Central Ave., Paris, IL 61944
Land of Lincoln Legal Aid will help participants determine eligibility for sealing or expungement. Those who qualify will receive FREE fingerprinting, and Land of Lincoln staff will provide follow-up assistance with the sealing/expungement and court process.
📲 REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!
You MUST scan the QR code on the flyer to sign up before the event.

These groups are FREE and open to the public!
Come learn, connect, and help us break the stigma surrounding substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health challenges. Together, we can build greater understanding, compassion, and support within our community.
Whether you have lived experience, support someone who does, work in the community, or simply want to learn more — everyone is welcome!
