Okkkk Jordan!
Jordan Menefee lives in the John Spencer Court area of Carver and volunteered to be a voice for our end of the County as the Harvest Foundation facilitates a visioning process for a better MHC. 🫶🏽💚💛

✨ Meet Jordan Menefee! ✨

Jordan is a proud Martinsville native who’s passionate about seeing her community thrive.

“I’ve lived here my whole life and have seen the community go from booming to slowing down. I want to build it back up and see the community grow!”

After heading off to college, Jordan made the decision to come back home—and now she’s helping make a difference as a Community Liaison. 💬

Her love for MHC runs deep, and she’s committed to being part of its next chapter.

If you’re visiting with Jordan, you’re definitely stopping by Uptown Pinball for some classic fun! 🎮

Free community breakfast on this Saturday!!

‼️Update: Due to Weather conditions & safety concerns, this event has been rescheduled.

We're showing đź’•LOVE THROUGH ACTION!

Through sharing a meal, we live out God’s call to care for one another and to serve those in need. Scripture reminds us that when we feed the hungry, we are serving Christ (Matthew 25:35).

This breakfast provides more than nourishment for the body—it offers encouragement for the heart and a reminder that no one is forgotten. As neighbors gather around the table, relationships are built, hope is restored, and God’s love is shared in a simple but powerful way.

By opening our doors and our tables, we become the hands and feet of Jesus, strengthening our community one meal at a time.

Club members used last Friday to rearrange our storage closets. We got the job done, but per usual, we got a little distracted looking through memorabilia from the former GWC High. Bring back any memories??

GWC is in need of elastic waist pants and NEW underwear!

Can you help??

Items can be dropped off in the office during normal school day hours.
