The Wednesday before Thanksgiving is referred to as Blackout Wednesday because it is one of the biggest drinking days of the year. As Parents, caregivers, and concerned adults, we need to please beware of the youth around us during this time and during the Holiday season to assure they are not participating in underage drinking, and they are able to enjoy the Holiday season safely.

Parents are the #1 influence on their youth and having conversations during the holiday season about the dangers of underage drinking is imperative.

Hosting any parties this holiday season? Be mindful by hosting inclusive and safe gatherings! Things that may seem small (providing food, non-alcoholic beverages and pacing alcoholic drink consumption) can make a big difference at your event.
