Our volunteers make it all happen.

They stock the shelves, they greet every face like a friend, they carry the heavy stuff, and make sure no one leaves empty-handed.

They don’t just keep the pantry running, they make it a place you can walk into with a little less worry and a little more hope.

We see you. We appreciate you. Thank you for being the heart of this whole thing. 🍎

Thanks to a generous grant from ’, The Marshfield Food Pantry was able to put together 50 snack packs for kids + families to take home over April vacation.

Here’s something we know to be true: school breaks are supposed to feel like a relief. But for a lot of families, they can bring a quiet kind of stress.

When school is out, so are the meals that many kids count on every single day. Food insecurity doesn’t take a vacation, and neither do we.

If your family needed a little extra support, we’re so glad we could show up for you. And if you know someone who could use us, please pass our information along.

To Dunkin’ + everyone who makes this work possible: thank you for helping us meet people right where they are. That’s exactly where we want to be. 🍎

13,000 pounds. 13,000 pounds of food.

That number is hard to even wrap around your head until you witness what it actually takes to make something like this happen.

This past Saturday, Marshfield showed up in the most incredible way for the National Letter Carrier Food Drive. We are still processing the magnitude of what was accomplished together.

Our carriers went far beyond an already demanding day, collecting food across town with care, patience, and determination. Furnace Brook Middle School opened their doors to us, giving us the space to receive, sort, stack, organize and move an overwhelming amount of food through in just hours. Nearly 100 volunteers walked through those doors ready to work. Young kids, lifting bags beside grandparents. Friends, families, neighbors, students, athletes, parents. So many hands doing heavy lifting in every sense of the phrase.

It was hard work, physical work. But it was also a community in its purest form. That is what care looks like when people choose to show up for one another.

To every single person who donated food, carried boxes, sorted cans, directed traffic, loaded trucks, gave up their Saturday, or simply believe this mattered… Thank you. Truly. Marshfield did not disappoint. You helped fill our shelves and remind us what a community is capable of when we move together. 🍎

Your mailbox matters more than you think this week!

This Saturday, May 9th, our local letter carriers will be collecting food donations right from your mailbox or PO Box as part of the annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive. This drive supports The Marshfield Food Pantry, and communities across the country.

Your donation bag and information packet should be arriving in the mail today or tomorrow so keep an eye out for it

All you have to do is fill a bag with non-perishable food items and leave it by your mailbox or PO Box before mail delivery on Saturday. Your letter carrier will do the rest!

It’s one small act that creates a very real impact for neighbors quietly navigating food insecurity right here in our own.

Every can, every box of pasta, every bag left by a mailbox adds up.

We are endlessly grateful to our letter carriers, volunteers, and every household choosing to participate. Community care is built through moments exactly like this.

Let’s help fill the pantry shelves together this Saturday. 🍎

40% of Massachusetts households are struggling to put food on the table

This isn’t distant. It’s happening right here in our own community

At the Marshfield Food Pantry, we’re seeing more families than ever returning to us for support., While resources are being stretched thin

That’s why the 2026 annual letter carrier Food Dr. matter

A packet will be delivered right to your mailbox with a bag to fill. All you have to do is leave it by your mailbox on May 9 with non-perishable food and your mail carrier will make sure MFP gets it.

One small act can make a real difference.

And if someone you know might need support, send this to them because we’re here. No one should face scarcity for food or otherwise. 🍎

We see you.

The Marshfield Food Pantry is about people.

Real people. Living real lives.

This community was built so no one has to carry that weight by themselves. You are not alone. If you need support, we’re here.

If someone came to mine while reading this, send it to them. Let them know you see them and you’re here with them.

If you’re in a place to give, this is where it matters. Link in bio. 🍎

499 pounds!

That’s what a group of fifth graders from Saint Christine‘s Parish collected this weekend through a Scavenger Hunt!

Let that land for a second. Not a fundraiser. Not a big corporate push. Just kids and curiosity and a little creativity which turned into real support for their neighbors.

This is what community looks like. It’s taught early. It’s lived out loud. And it matters more than we can say.

To these students, their families, and everyone who helped to make it happen, thank you. You didn’t just collect food, you showed what care in action really looks like.

And to our community, this is a reminder that even the smallest idea can turn into something big! 499 pounds big! 🍎

There are quiet ways a community shows up, and this is one of them.

These local businesses didn’t have to say yes to holding our donation, cash boxes, but they did. They made space. They said “we’re in.” And because of that, support for our pantry becomes just a little more accessible for everyone who walks through their doors.

That’s how this works. Not big gestures. Consistent ones.

We’re so grateful for each of you. You’re helping turn everyday moments into real impact for our neighbors.

And to our community, next time you’re in one of these spaces, you’ll know why that little box matters. Look for it and drop something in if you can to be part of the support!

Always in gratitude. 🍎
