What a night! A sold-out crowd gathered at Granite Links for the 2026 Making Lives Better Gala, where, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, $640,000 was raised in support of Road to Responsibility’s mission of making lives better for adults with disabilities.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), a time to recognize the value, talent, skills, and contributions of people with disabilities in the workplace.

This year’s theme, “Celebrating Value and Talent,” reflects what we see every day at Road to Responsibility: when people have the opportunity to pursue meaningful employment, contribute their strengths, and build greater independence, our workplaces and communities are stronger.

Throughout October, we’ll be sharing stories that highlight employment, opportunity, and the many ways our Members contribute to workplaces across our communities.
