This year, Rivah Designs, the non-profit I founded 4 years ago supported:

Veteran’s Services
James P Harrington Foundation at Ferry Hill
McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance
and South Shore Peer Recovery.

I could not have fulfilled my mission without my family, friends and customers.
It has been very rewarding to be able to repurpose and design decor that people genuinely loved. Over the years, countless enthusiastic friends and family gave their time and talent, which allowed me to support many foundations in support of mental health and substance abuse. This past year, I am especially grateful for Terry and Elaine who worked tirelessly to make everything from paintings and driftwood pieces to Grinch ornaments. Rose and Bill provided sound guidance and oversight as board members. Lauren was my “go to girl” for graphics and social media.

My greatest gift was connecting with those who shared their personal stories and were inspired by my mission. In addition, it was a pleasure to meet talented individuals and artists who contributed their own beautiful handmade work for me to sell after learning of my mission.

It has been quite a journey. As I end this chapter I look forward to my next adventure!

Taking a hiatus because both life and time off happens. All is well.

After a winter hiatus, Rivah Designs will be in Plymouth Saturday. We will be raising money for the Samaritans.

Over the past year Rivah Designs has raised money for:

South Shore Resource and Advocacy Center -
whose mission is to provide advocacy, education, and support for victims of violence and abuse;

McKinney Vento Program- assists homeless families with children enrolled in the Marshfield Public Schools with services that promote their social and emotional wellbeing;

Veteran’s Mental Health Services -assists Veteran’s with access to drug and rehabilitation programs, Traumatic Brain Injury, PTSD, and other mental health services;

James P Harrington Organization whose mission is to nurture individuals and families by providing wellness and healing programs.

It’s been a busy year and could not have done it without help from these wonderful people who donate their time, energy, and talent: Rose, Terry, Tom, Chrissy, Elaine, Ann G, Ann B, Ann K, Carmela, Julia, Patty, Wendy, Donna, Karen, Pat, Nancy, Inge, Libby, Marge, Megan, and Bill.

Shout out to Flowers by Maryellen! 🌸 Rivah Designs coastal decor is on sale at her shop. I am currently raising money for South Shore Resource and Advocacy Center, https://www.SSRAC.org. Rivah Designs will be at the Plymouth Pride 🌈 Festival on Sunday, June 25th from 11AM to 5PM at Nelson Park. This is a beautiful waterfront event - fun for the whole family. THANK YOU to all who helped me with the adventures of running a non profit in 2022. Rivah Designs has donated to Plymouth County Su***de Prevention Coalition, Home Base, and the McKinney Vento Program. I am grateful for all your support (financial, emotional, and artistic) over the 18 months since I started this small business. In trying to raise awareness about substance abuse and mental health resources in our community, I am very moved by the responses I get from customers. As they browse some share their personal stories. Those of you that have volunteered with me have heard them.

South Shore Pool Supplies becomes the Stocking Stuffer Store 🎄🎅🏼. Every Week they have different charities bring their goods to sell in their store front. RIVAH DESIGNS will be there Saturday 12/17. I will be raising money for the McKinney-Vento Program. This program invests in the social and emotional well being of homeless students enrolled in the Marshfield Public School System.
