First day of the season! 🎭✨ There’s always something special about being back—seeing familiar faces, welcoming new participants, and watching everything begin to come together.

Tonight, Thursday Aug 20th is our Wizard of Oz parent meeting at The Artstarts House at 6pm. We'll have lots of information to share and some exciting updates so please do your best to have a member of your family in attendance. If you have questions, this is the best time to get answers.

Saturday, August 22nd will be our first rehearsal. Full cast read through. 9am-12pm

🌈 Congratulations to the cast of Artstarts' production of The Wizard of Oz! 🌈

We are so excited to officially begin this journey down the Yellow Brick Road with an incredible group of performers!

To every single person on this cast list: you are an important and valuable part of this production. Every role, every ensemble member, every voice, and every personality helps bring the world of Oz to life. We are grateful for the courage, preparation, and talent you shared throughout auditions and callbacks, and we cannot wait to see what we create together.

Congratulations, cast! 💚 There truly is no place like Artstarts, and we are so excited to welcome you to Oz!

REMINDER: Our first parent meeting will be held Thursday night at 6:00 PM at Artstarts. With some exciting new elements being added to this production—including a full orchestra and flying effects—we strongly encourage each family to have at least one adult in attendance. We will be sharing important information to help everyone prepare for the weeks ahead.

We look forward to seeing you Thursday and officially beginning this adventure to Oz together! 🌈💚🌪️👠

The Wizard of Oz Cast List Update:

The cast list will be finalized and posted in full on Tuesday. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as we take the time to make these decisions carefully. With so many incredibly talented cast members, this is never an easy process, and we truly appreciate everyone who shared their talents with us.

We thank each and every one of you for coming out to auditions and showing us what you're capable of. Here's a reminder of some important info for callback day (Saturday):

DANCE AUDITIONS -
Please only wear close-toed shoes (sneakers, jazz shoes, etc.)

9am-10am, Saturday August 15
First dance call. This will be for general dance and flying monkeys/stunts. All ages and cast members are welcome to attend. All those on the callback lists must attend this portion of the dance audition.

10am-11am, Saturday August 15
Second dance call. This will be specifically for tap. Tin Man callbacks must be present at this audition. All ages and cast members are welcome to attend. Tap shoes not required to audition.

REMINDER
The Artstarts House will be closed for lunch on Saturday from 11am until noon. Please make sure your child is picked up on time in order to give our team the opportunity to get lunch and to prepare for callbacks.

CALLBACKS -
12pm-??pm, Saturday August 15
If your name is on the callback list, we need you to attend callbacks. If your name was not on the list, you are still part of this cast.

PARENT MEETING -
