Ed Bray is an amazing man.

A veteran himself, Ed understands that service doesn’t end when the uniform comes off. He has been relentless in his mission to stand beside the men and women who have served our country—especially those who may be struggling in silence.

Through Bray Racing — Motor With A Mission, Ed is using something he loves, racing, to reach people, start conversations, and remind veterans that they are not alone and their lives matter.

The $22 Challenge is about much more than $22. It’s about one person challenging another, and then another, until a simple act becomes a movement.

I’ve spent a lifetime around racing, and I know what passion looks like. Ed Bray has turned his passion into purpose.

More than 23 years after a deadly insider attack at Camp Pennsylvania, Kuwait, three more members of the 101st Airborne Division community finally received recognition for their wounds.

Retired Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, retired Army Chaplain Rodie Lamb, and the late Army Capt. Christopher Seifert were honored during a ceremony in late July at the Tennessee Wings of Liberty Museum. Retired Gen. David Petraeus, former commander of the 101st Airborne Division, presided over the ceremony, which is part of a continuing effort to recognize every soldier wounded or killed in the March 23, 2003 attack.

The Purple Heart is one of our nation's oldest military decorations and is awarded to those wounded or killed in action. While this recognition came years after their injuries, it serves as a lasting reminder that their sacrifice has not been forgotten.
