[9:45 AM Saturday January 24]: Light to at times moderate snow will continue through the day today. Temperatures are very cold (upper single digits and teens) so snow is accumulating on all surfaces, including treated roads. Snowfall amounts through 6 PM are forecast to be heaviest across western KY and the MO bootheel. Snowfall rates will increase tonight, especially after 10 PM and continuing into Sunday morning. This is when the bulk of the snow falls across southeast MO into southern IL and southwest IN. Snow will continue into Sunday afternoon, but should be lighter intensity.

NOTE: Storm total snowfall amounts have not changed from our earlier update. Everything is still on track.
