Imagine being a senior dog.
Your person dies. 💔
Your home disappears. 😞
And suddenly you're living in a kennel. 😢
Now imagine the only thing left from your old life is your best friend. 🥺

That's Kaya and Achilles.

These two senior dogs lost everything when their owner passed away. 💔😔 There beloved dad is gone and now it's up to us to feed them, house them, provide medical care, and give them the love and comfort they deserve while we search for their new home.

Kaya and Achilles are a bonded pair. 🥺🐾 They have spent their lives together in a home where they were truly loved, and after all they've been through, we will not separate them. 😢 Finding a home for two senior dogs is no easy task, but we know the right family is out there.

💔 Tito and Lincoln don’t understand why their whole world changed.

Their dad moved out of the country, and had to leave them behind. They were loved. They were house dogs. They knew comfort, routine, and what it felt like to belong to someone.

Now they only have each other.

Tito is 6, Lincoln is 4, and they are a bonded pair who must stay together. They are house trained, leash trained, good with other dogs, and truly some of the sweetest, most loving, well-behaved boys you could ever meet. They will make the perfect addition to any Aussie loving home!!

And those eyes?
Once you look into those soft, trusting eyes, you’ll understand exactly why we’re fighting so hard to find them a home together.

They don’t need much. Just a family willing to love them both.

Guess who's going on a home visit??? This guy!! We are so excited and hopeful that Bucky will be a perfect match for this family. 🤞

Meet Bucky! ❤️

This handsome guy is looking for a new home after his family's circumstances changed and they started a hobby farm. Because Bucky can't safely live with chickens, he's back with us after a year in his new home 🥲 and he's ready for his next adventure.

The good news? Bucky is a great dog!!

He loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and brings a happy, easygoing energy wherever he goes. Everyone who meets him falls for his sweet personality and big smile.

📸🐾 VOLUNTEER PHOTOGRAPHER NEEDED — HELP OUR DOGS GET ADOPTED 🐾📸

This sweet senior girl is Smoky.

Like so many rescue dogs, she's waiting for someone to notice her.

The truth is, one of the biggest factors in getting dogs adopted isn't just their personality—it's their photos.

A great photo can be the difference between a dog getting overlooked and a dog finding a family.

Right now, our small staff spends their days feeding and watering dogs, cleaning kennels, washing bowls, administering medications, and caring for 30 dogs. There simply isn't enough time left in the day to take a dog out for the kind of photos they deserve.

We're looking for a volunteer photographer (with a helper) or photography team who can help us change that.

📷 What we need:
• Someone comfortable handling dogs on leash
• A self-starter who doesn't need supervision
• Someone who can leash dogs, take them from their kennels to our green space and capture flattering, fun, personality-filled photos
• A partner or helper to come with you (it really takes two people to get those ears up, eyes focused, and tails wagging!)

No professional studio required. Just patience, kindness, and an eye for helping our dogs look their best.

We'll show you what works, but our staff won't be able to step away from daily animal care to assist during photo sessions.

Every great photo helps tell a dog's story.

Every great photo helps a dog get seen.

And every dog that gets adopted opens a space for us to save another life.

PUPDATE. She's on a home visit !!

🐾 Meet Bella 🐾

Bella is 3 years old, weighs about 22 pounds, and is finally getting the chance to just be a dog.

💟 She loves toys. She loves running around the yard. She loves other dogs. And if you sit down for more than a minute, chances are she'll find her way into your lap or lean in for a hug.

🐾 Bella is house trained, crate trained, and has a nice balance of being playful without being over-the-top. She's happy to entertain herself, but she's always up for an adventure if you are.

💛 She would love a home with another friendly dog to play with and people who will continue helping her build confidence. She's still catching up on some socialization, but she's making great progress and is shaping up to be a wonderful companion.

😀 Bella is one of those dogs that's easy to be around. She's sweet, affectionate, and happy to be included in whatever you're doing.

Now she just needs a family to call her own.

This is Smoky.
She's 8-10 years old.
Not long ago, Smoky was found living in a car with four other dogs. The owner was a backyard breeder who had completely failed them all. 😭

At now, when she should be spending her senior years in love and comfort, Smoky has lost everything. 💔

Today, she lives at our rescue in an outdoor kennel. She is scared, sad and confused.

We feed her
We care for her.
We provide veterinary care. We Love her.
We make sure she's safe while we are searching for a new home for her. But all off this cost money. We can't do it without donations. 💲💲💲
