Spend a day at Fieldstone Hunting Preserve and help support healthier smiles across Georgia. 🎯

The Georgia Dental Association Foundation for Oral Health invites you to the annual Pull for Smiles Clay Shoot on Saturday, October 24, in Dry Branch, Georgia (just outside Macon).

Enjoy a day of friendly competition, prizes, breakfast, BBQ lunch and time with fellow supporters of oral health at one of Georgia’s well-known sporting destinations. Individual and team registration includes 12- or 20-gauge ammo and a golf cart.

Funds raised through Pull for Smiles help support GDA Foundation programs that provide dental care and oral health education to Georgians in need, including Georgia Mission of Mercy.

More than dental care. A lasting impact. 💜
On September 26–27, the GDA Foundation brought dental professionals and volunteers together for the Georgia Mission of Mercy, making a meaningful difference in the lives of Georgians in need.

Over two days, 150 dedicated volunteers provided dental care to more than 250 patients, relieving pain, restoring smiles, and making a lasting impact on our community.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to every volunteer, supporter, and partner who helped make this event possible. A special thank you to Columbus Technical College for hosting the fall event and providing the space to bring our mission to life! Your generosity and support helped make these two days of care possible.

On October 6, GDA members and leadership gathered in Athens for a legislative reception focused on building relationships with the lawmakers who help shape the future of dentistry in Georgia.

These conversations matter. By connecting dentists directly with elected officials, we help ensure the profession has a voice when decisions are made that impact dental practices and patient care.

This year, GDA's advocacy efforts helped secure important legislative wins, including new protections for healthcare providers regarding virtual credit card payments and state funding to support charitable dental care and rural healthcare access.

And we're not stopping there! As we look toward the 2027 legislative session, GDA remains committed to advocating for meaningful dental insurance reform, addressing workforce challenges, and protecting access to quality dental care across Georgia.
