Our Auxiliary family has lost one of our cherished members - Maria “Tere” Rodriguez, wife of Past Post 29 Commander, Amador.

Tere will always be remembered for her beautifully decorated cakes and home-made tamales and empanadas. But our favorite memory will be Amador and Tere as they danced the waltz in our Social Quarters.

Join her family and friends at a mass celebrating her life, Thursday, August 13th at 11:30 am

Update on Tere Rodriguez - she has been moved to hospice care. Please continue to pray for her and her family.

After a celebration of new Auxiliary officers last night, today has brought sadness and potential loss.

One of our most beloved Auxiliary members, Tere Rodriguez, is fighting for her life. Please pray for Tere’s family and friends as she takes her final journey to join her Amador “Rod”.

Olga, Pete and I spent time with her, her grandkids and her precious great-grands this afternoon. She and Amador brought Pete and I into the Legion family. Tere, the most incredible cake decorator, made Olga and David’s wedding cake. Our memories will live on.

Congratulations Lila! She is the winner of our Junior Member Scholarship and received her check at our General Meeting last night. A recent high school graduate with an off-the-charts GPA who is headed to college soon. We are proud to call her a Unit 29 member!
